What You’ll Do

  • Provide technological advisory services to engineers, technicians, and associates.
  • Promote safety standards in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and update technical manuals, standard drawings, and procedures to incorporate new technologies.
  • Solve technological challenges using proven engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage current engineering technologies.
  • Identify and optimize technical solutions by applying engineering principles.
  • Compile and submit monthly and quarterly reports pertaining to projects.
  • Contribute to operational planning and the development of databases.
  • Conduct research and keep up-to-date with advancements in engineering technology.
  • Liaise with relevant boards and councils on engineering-related matters.

What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor of Technology in Engineering (B Tech) or a relevant qualification.
  • A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience as an Engineering Technologist.
  • Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technologist.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Strong knowledge in project management, technical design, analysis, and legal compliance.
  • Proficiency in technical report writing and computer-aided engineering applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
