What You’ll Do

  • Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and servicing of hospital equipment and systems
  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance according to approved schedules
  • Attend to mechanical breakdowns and emergency requests promptly
  • Identify mechanical faults and implement appropriate corrective measures
  • Inspect mechanical equipment, reporting defects to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and equipment conditions
  • Assist with the installation and testing of new mechanical equipment
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with technical personnel from various departments for effective maintenance
  • Provide technical advice to supervisors regarding maintenance requirements

What You’ll Need

  • Appropriate Mechanical Trade Test Certificate in line with the Manpower Act
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • For Grade A: 0-2 years of relevant experience post-certification
  • For Grade B: At least 14 years of relevant experience post-certification
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is an advantage
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, and boilers
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently
  • Familiarity with technical drawings and equipment manuals
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer literacy for maintenance reporting
  • Capability to work independently and under pressure during emergencies
