What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the daily operations of the employee wellness program.
- Implement wellness initiatives, policies, and strategies to enhance employee health.
- Organize wellness days and health screenings, collaborating with service providers for logistics.
- Promote participation in wellness activities through effective communication campaigns.
- Conduct health education sessions focusing on chronic illness management.
- Distribute educational materials and facilitate referrals to counselling and testing services.
- Organize health and wellness awareness activities, including workshops and feedback collection.
- Manage the sports and recreational program, coordinating events and maintaining participation records.
- Execute administrative tasks related to the wellness program, including record-keeping and reporting.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate NQF level 6 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Social Work, Human Resource Management (with a wellness focus), or Psychology.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Employee Health and Wellness environment.
- Knowledge of policy implementation and monitoring and evaluation principles.
- Familiarity with designing and implementing workplace wellness initiatives.
- Understanding of health and wellness policies and compliance regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and planning skills, with the ability to facilitate programs effectively.
- Proficient computer skills and excellent communication abilities.
