What You’ll Do
- Manage the development and review of User Demand Management policies and procedures.
- Ensure User Asset Management Plans (UAMPs) are compliant and provide ongoing support to user departments.
- Oversee infrastructure planning and budgeting, aligning initiatives with client needs.
- Lead client engagement and relationship management, formalizing service delivery standards and agreements.
- Direct the development and execution of the Directorate’s business plans and performance management.
- Address audit queries and maintain compliance with departmental and legislative requirements.
- Foster staff development and contribute to transversal task teams.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of NQF 7 qualification in Public Administration/Management, Business Administration, Law, Real Estate Management, or Town and Regional Planning.
- At least 5 years of experience in a middle or senior managerial role relevant to the field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of government asset management policies and relevant legislation.
- Strong strategic capability, leadership, and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage conflict and solve problems effectively while maintaining client focus and service orientation.
