What You’ll Do
- Manage the implementation of real estate management guidelines, processes, and standards.
- Conduct research to stay updated on professional guidelines, legislation, and trends in real estate management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements related to immovable asset management.
- Develop and implement support tools and ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
- Oversee the administration of leased properties, ensuring client satisfaction and effective performance.
- Manage the acquisition and disposal of state fixed assets, guiding the process to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain sound relationships with clients and internal stakeholders while overseeing the management of property portfolios.
- Prepare financial reports on property status, including occupancy rates and maintenance operations.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of NQF 7 degree in Real Estate, Property Studies, Immovable Asset Management, or a related field recognized by SAQA.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a middle or senior managerial position in Real Estate Management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, government budget systems, and procurement procedures.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proven management skills with a focus on performance and development.
- Ability to conduct research and prepare detailed reports.
