What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement strategic and operational plans for Pharmaceutical Services.
• Provide expert advice on the selection and procurement of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
• Compile and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on pharmaceutical activities.
• Manage the pharmaceutical budget and monitor expenditure effectively.
• Oversee medicine supply management processes to ensure reliability and safety.
• Manage the warehousing and distribution of pharmaceuticals across facilities.
• Supervise the development and review of pharmaceutical policies and essential medicine programs.
• Render technical support to health programs and provide training to healthcare providers.
• Ensure the implementation of the down referral system and essential drug program.
• Promote public health initiatives and assess the performance of pharmacy staff.

What You’ll Need

• An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) in BSc. Pharm / B. Pharm recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience at a middle or senior managerial level.
• A valid Driver’s Licence.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in computer applications (MS Word and Excel).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• In-depth knowledge of the National Drug Policy and good pharmacy practices.
• Familiarity with the Pharmacy Act and related substance regulations.
