What You’ll Do
- Ensure effective monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of organizational performance.
- Oversee the standard operating procedures and service standards compliance.
- Facilitate and manage quality standards for departmental reporting.
- Provide support for executive committees and branches in monitoring and evaluation.
- Conduct periodic evaluations of policies and legislation.
- Offer statistical analysis and insights to improve departmental performance.
- Build capacity for monitoring and evaluation across the department.
- Maintain strong relationships with key units like Internal Audit and Planning.
- Drive strategic direction and leadership within the Chief Directorate.
- Manage human, physical, and financial resources efficiently.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Public Administration, Management, or related fields at NQF level 7.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience at a Middle/Senior Managerial level.
- Knowledge of South Africa’s Constitution and relevant public service legislation.
- Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury regulations.
- Strong project management skills and experience with online systems.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.
- Completion of the Senior Management Services Pre-entry Certificate upon appointment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
