What You’ll Do

• Ensure compliance with financial management standards, including the Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations.
• Oversee financial support services within provincial shared service centers.
• Manage departmental budgets, financial accounting processes, and payroll.
• Implement policies, systems, and procedures to enhance financial management and reporting.
• Provide logistics, travel, and transport services, as well as facilities management.
• Manage the acquisition of goods, services, and assets through an effective demand management plan.
• Oversee internal control processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in relevant fields such as Financial Management, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management (NQF Level 7).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a middle or senior managerial role within a relevant environment.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Treasury Regulations.
• Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, analytical thinking, and project management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a willingness to travel.
