What You’ll Do

• Manage the functional operations of the Supply Chain Management sub-directorate, focusing on Acquisitions and Logistics Management.
• Develop, review, and implement the supply chain acquisition management framework and associated policies.
• Oversee the bidding process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while compiling bid documents and advertisements.
• Maintain a list of prospective providers and compile terms of reference for inviting service providers for expressions of interest.
• Source bids from the database in accordance with the National Treasury’s threshold values.
• Supervise and support employees to deliver an effective acquisition management service, alongside managing essential administrative functions related to financial and HR matters.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 7 Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a B-Tech in Logistics.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Management environment at an ASD level.
• A valid driver’s license is required to perform duties effectively.
