What You’ll Do
- Manage the functional operations of the Supply Chain Management sub-directorate, focusing on Acquisitions and Logistics Management.
- Develop, review, and implement the supply chain acquisition management framework and associated policies.
- Oversee the bidding process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while compiling bid documents and advertisements.
- Maintain a list of prospective providers and compile terms of reference for inviting service providers for expressions of interest.
- Source bids from the database in accordance with the National Treasury’s threshold values.
- Supervise and support employees to deliver an effective acquisition management service, alongside managing essential administrative functions related to financial and HR matters.
What You’ll Need
- NQF Level 7 Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a B-Tech in Logistics.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Management environment at an ASD level.
- A valid driver’s license is required to perform duties effectively.
