What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the acquisition of strategically located land in line with national priorities.
  • Support district offices in identifying suitable land for state acquisition.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive project register for land acquisitions.
  • Manage assessments and valuations of identified properties.
  • Facilitate mapping of identified land with essential commodities.
  • Oversee the land acquisition approval process through relevant structures.
  • Ensure compliance with the Beneficiary Selection Policy during land allocation.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to address support requirements for land acquisition projects.
  • Coordinate the transfer and registration processes for acquired land.
  • Provide ongoing support for land acquisition procedures in compliance with policy guidelines.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Agricultural Studies, Agricultural Economics, Development Studies, or related fields (NQF Level 6).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a junior management role focused on Strategic Land Acquisition.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge of land reform legislation and government priorities related to agrarian transformation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in project management and stakeholder relations.
  • Willingness to travel as required for project support and coordination.
