What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the implementation of infrastructure funding frameworks across Provincial Departments and Entities.
  • Prepare and manage infrastructure budgets in accordance with relevant guidelines.
  • Support Provincial Departments in preparing and verifying infrastructure reports.
  • Facilitate the rollout of the Infrastructure Delivery Management System (IDMS) and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Assist in capturing infrastructure budgets and performance information.
  • Analyze infrastructure projects and compile reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Provide technical support during departmental infrastructure committee meetings.
  • Monitor infrastructure procurement plans and recommend corrective measures.
  • Validate project performance through site visits and financial reviews.
  • Compile performance reports for submission to Provincial and National Treasury.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 7 qualification in the Built Environment (Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, etc.) or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Management, with at least 3 years at a junior managerial level.
  • Familiarity with guidelines such as IDMS, FIDPM, and CIDB Regulations.
  • Knowledge of budget processes for infrastructure is an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong understanding of public service policies, financial management, and project management.
