What You’ll Do
- Manage all district labour relations matters and ensure compliance with labour laws.
- Coordinate and monitor collective bargaining activities and address grievances.
- Promote and administer effective dispute resolution and prevention mechanisms.
- Provide guidance on incapacity and employee behaviour issues.
- Develop and facilitate policies related to collective bargaining and grievances.
- Liaise with Head Office and trade unions on labour relations matters.
- Maintain discipline among staff members and execute HR performance management.
- Establish systems and structures for effective district labour relations management.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification (NQF 7) in Labour Relations, Labour Law, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in labour relations.
- Extensive knowledge of labour laws and education legislation.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution and crisis intervention.
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
