What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the accommodation portfolio for client departments.
  • Develop, review, and maintain user demand management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct research on best practices related to property management.
  • Ensure compliance with public finance management regulations.
  • Communicate property user demand management policies to relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish governance processes and internal control measures for user demand.
  • Manage the verification and assessment of accommodation particulars.
  • Liaise with service providers and client departments regarding leasing issues.
  • Oversee budget coordination and expenditure monitoring for client departments.
  • Prepare cost analyses and compile client-specific expenditure reports.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Public Management, Business Administration, or Real Estate Management.
  • Relevant experience at a Junior Management or Assistant Director level in a related field.
  • A valid driver’s license is essential.
  • Knowledge of Works Control System (WCS), Basic Accounting System (BAS), and financial management principles.
  • Strong skills in advanced numeracy, organization, and interpersonal communication.
  • A proactive problem-solving approach and advanced computer literacy.
