What You’ll Do
- Manage the Department’s international focal point administration and communication.
- Provide support for multi-lateral agreements and international conventions.
- Coordinate the dissemination of international cooperation information.
- Oversee logistical arrangements for South African delegations at international events.
- Administer international travel programs for the Department.
- Support the Chief Directorate with general administrative tasks and compliance.
- Monitor financial expenditure within the Chief Directorate.
- Facilitate procurement support services for various projects.
- Assist in the coordination of international projects and their implementation.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma (NQF6) in Public Management, Administration, Business Administration, or a relevant qualification.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a related field, with at least three years at a junior managerial level.
- Strong knowledge of international relations and diplomacy.
- Proficiency in written and oral English, with additional official language skills preferred.
- Familiarity with strategic planning, business processes, and project management.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy and strong organizational abilities.
- A proactive approach to meeting deadlines with a sense of responsibility and loyalty.
