What You’ll Do
- Manage and maintain the hospital’s expenditure and revenue budgets proactively.
- Implement and support financial management and accounting responsibilities for cost centres.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information for strategic decision-making.
- Enforce financial control measures and internal control systems to ensure compliance.
- Develop opportunities for revenue generation and oversee revenue collection and debt control.
- Coordinate the audit process, ensuring all financial activities are transparent and accountable.
- Oversee the Supply Chain Management process, including asset management and warehousing.
- Lead the information management function at the hospital to ensure effective data handling.
- Ensure the implementation of relevant financial policies and best practices.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial management at a management level within a large organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Financial and Management Accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of public finance management regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing human resources effectively.
- Excellent communication and conflict management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong computer literacy.
- A valid Code B/EB driver’s license is required.
