The Data Typist Supervisor position with the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) is based in Bellville, a vibrant town in the Western Cape. What You’ll Do
- Receive and consolidate monthly crime returns from various units
- Verify information against source documents and relevant data
- Compile and calculate performance indicator targets related to serious commercial crime
- Query discrepancies and rectify statistical data as needed
- Oversee compliance with information security standards as prescribed
- Supervise and control human, physical, and financial resources allocated to the team
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) at NQF Level 4
- A minimum of four years’ relevant experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in at least two official languages, including English
- Strong computer literacy and interpersonal communication skills
- No previous criminal or departmental convictions
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and developmental courses are advantageous
