What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support to local federations, clubs, and schools.
- Render assistance to Provincial Sport academies and other related entities.
- Implement programs to strengthen relationships between sport and recreation stakeholders.
- Collect, analyze, and update data on sport and recreational activities.
- Facilitate capacity-building initiatives, including coach training and education events.
- Coordinate club development leagues and manage events related to sports programs.
- Promote health and fitness activities within the community.
- Liaise with sports federations, councils, and academies to boost participation rates.
What You’ll Need
- NQF Level 4/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 06/07) in Sport Management, Administration, or Science is an advantage.
- A valid driver’s license (not required for persons with disabilities).
- Knowledge of public service acts, regulations, and policies.
- Skills in planning, organizing, problem-solving, communication, and report writing.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and project management.
