What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and provide holistic specialized nursing care for survivors of gender-based violence.
  • Manage and supervise resources effectively, including human and financial assets.
  • Promote collaboration among various stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide administrative and educational services, ensuring accurate record-keeping and completion of statistics.
  • Lead health promotion and awareness campaigns regarding gender-based violence.
  • Maintain professional growth and ethical standards while supporting the development of staff members.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports to track progress and outcomes.

What You’ll Need

  • A basic R425 qualification (Diploma or Degree in nursing) that allows registration with SANC as a professional nurse.
  • Current registration with SANC.
  • A post-basic nursing qualification in Forensic Nursing, specializing in forensic science and Clinical Nursing Practice.
  • Minimum of 4 years of recognized experience in nursing for Grade 1 or 14 years for Grade 2 after registration with SANC.
  • At least 10 years of the experience should be in the specific specialty after obtaining the relevant post-basic qualification.
