What You’ll Do

  • Register work-seekers and manage their information on the Employment Services System (ESSA)
  • Provide administrative support for work and learning opportunity registrations
  • Refer work seekers to Employment Counselling services, offering them guidance and support
  • Assist in filing and organizing work and learning opportunities
  • Participate in advocacy sessions to promote available services and opportunities

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and labour legislation
  • Familiarity with the Employment Services Act and Public Service Act
  • Strong computer literacy and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and telephone etiquette
  • Ability to interpret legislation and conduct interviews effectively
