What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations within the Amendment and Rectifications Unit.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance against service level standards and take corrective action as needed.
  • Compile performance reports on turnaround times, volumes processed, and error rates.
  • Ensure quality service delivery and adherence to departmental standards.
  • Manage records and documentation in accordance with DHA policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on operational requests and issues.
  • Allocate daily tasks and monitor staff progress against targets.
  • Identify operational challenges and recommend solutions to management.
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives within the unit.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Public Administration, Public Management, or a related field at NQF level 6 as recognized by SAQA.
  • Two years of supervisory experience in operations and client or customer service environments.
  • Knowledge of amendments and rectifications registration processes is advantageous.
  • Understanding of legislation and policies related to civic services.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and time management abilities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of human resource regulatory frameworks and public service regulations.
