What You’ll Do

  • Manage daily building maintenance projects to ensure effective execution of tasks.
  • Monitor and control project costs, estimates, and maintenance budgets.
  • Conduct site inspections for compliance with specified regulations.
  • Facilitate site handovers and ensure proper documentation of deliveries.
  • Develop building programs and conduct conditional surveys, reporting progress to management.
  • Ensure all work adheres to PW371 standards and specifications.
  • Provide a coordinated and professional service to all clients regarding maintenance and management.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6/National Diploma) in Building, Civil, or Quantity Surveying, or Facilities Management.
  • Alternatively, an N3 qualification with a passed trade test and 3 to 5 years of technical experience in the built environment.
  • A valid driver’s license is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Public Finance Management Act.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and resource management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication abilities, along with computer literacy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and budgeting/estimating capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel and work irregular hours as needed.
