What You’ll Do

  • Operate specialized machinery and equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Provide driving and transportation services as required.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Assist in safety administration and reporting processes to maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective fleet and equipment management.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to machinery operation and maintenance.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF level 3 (Grade 10 certificate)/ABET/AET or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in driving and operating specialized equipment.
  • A valid driver’s license (Code EC) and operating certificate (PDP).
  • Knowledge of operating and maintaining both earth-moving and non-earth-moving equipment.
  • Ability to perform physical inspections and interpret instructions for safe equipment operation.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to read and write proficiently.
