What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the transportation of patients to treatment centers to ensure timely care.
  • Facilitate respectful communication and handover of remains to relevant stakeholders.
  • Enforce disciplinary procedures effectively among personnel.
  • Manage the collection and cleaning of wheelchairs, trolleys, and blood hampers.
  • Execute administrative functions at a supervisory level and support the Administrative Officer.

What You’ll Need

  • General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Standard 7).
  • Relevant experience in porter services within a hospital setting.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Basic knowledge of the Staff Performance Management System.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with protocols related to the handling of deceased patients.
