What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of departmental performance according to legislative requirements.
  • Develop and implement an integrated monitoring and evaluation system.
  • Align monitoring and evaluation processes with the department’s strategic and operational planning.
  • Manage the Chief Directorate to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives that drive organizational objectives.
  • Facilitate data management and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and service delivery excellence.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant degree in Public Administration, Management, Business Management, or an Advanced Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation (NQF7).
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior managerial role within strategy planning and monitoring and evaluation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DMPR policies, functions, and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in data management and analysis, with experience in statistical tools.
  • Ability to navigate complex policy development and implementation processes.
