What You’ll Do
- Manage and maintain fleet vehicles to ensure operational readiness.
- Verify and process invoices related to vehicle usage and maintenance.
- Control expenditures associated with fleet management, including maintenance and accidents.
- Process subsistence and travel claims efficiently.
- Manage traffic fines and provide guidance on compliance with transport policies.
- Assist in the preparation of interim and annual financial statements.
- Maintain an effective records management system for all transport-related activities.
- Adapt to changing work schedules as per departmental needs and directives.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transport Management, Public Administration, or Public Management.
- Extensive working experience in Transport Management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of procurement policies, National Treasury Regulations, and relevant legislation.
- Familiarity with financial systems like LOGIS and BAS, as well as Standard Chart of Accounts (SCOA).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- Proficiency in client relations and report writing capabilities.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to work under pressure.
