What You’ll Do

  • Manage technical services and support, collaborating with technicians and artisans on various projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • Contribute to the development of technical manuals, drawings, and procedures to integrate new technologies.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including budget inputs and report submissions.
  • Monitor and control expenditure to ensure efficient financial management.
  • Guide the development and performance management of artisans and related personnel.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and engineering practices through continuous professional development.
  • Liaise with relevant bodies on technical and engineering matters.

What You’ll Need

  • A Trade Test Certificate in Earth Moving Equipment Mechanic, Construction Plant Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or Tractor Mechanic.
  • A minimum of ten years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan or Artisan Foreman.
  • A valid driver’s licence (minimum Code C1).
  • Strong project management and technical design skills.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided technical applications and technical report writing.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizing abilities.
  • Financial management skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
