What You’ll Do

  • Manage and respond to calls logged on the call management systems.
  • Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, norms, and standards.
  • Perform installations, maintenance, and upgrades of computer hardware.
  • Install and upgrade software applications as needed.
  • Maintain internet and email client services.
  • Keep antivirus software and operating systems up to date.
  • Initiate and coordinate change control procedures.
  • Provide technical input for training and development of end-user skills.
  • Conduct routine backups for all available servers.
  • Compile monthly performance reports.
  • Assist the Deputy Director with IT-related tasks and perform overtime and standby duties as necessary.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in IT.
  • A valid unexpired driver’s license.
  • Certifications such as Certified Microsoft Engineer, MCSA, or MCSE are advantageous.
  • Required certifications: A+ and Network+.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems (7, 8, 10), MS Office (2010, 2013, Office 365), and ITIL.
  • Strong customer service skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel to various remote sites and offices as needed.
