What You’ll Do

• Manage and support technical services across fields, workshops, and technical offices.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, inspections, and complex diagnostics within the auto-electrical discipline.
• Ensure compliance with technical, safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead Artisan Foremen, Artisans, and technical personnel, while managing resources and assets effectively.
• Provide input into technical procedures, operational plans, and budgets.
• Compile technical and management reports to monitor progress and performance.
• Promote efficient resource utilization and control expenditure.
• Engage with stakeholders to facilitate regular technical meetings and discussions.
• Provide senior technical advice and support while managing staff performance and development.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• A valid driver’s license.
• An appropriate Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal) in Auto-Electrical.
• At least ten (10) years of experience as an Artisan and/or Artisan Foreman in the relevant trade.
• Experience with vehicles, heavy vehicles, construction plant, and earthmoving equipment.
• A minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to work in various environments, including offices, workshops, and field sites.
• A post-matric qualification is advantageous.
• Skills in project management, technical diagnostics, quality assurance, and people management.
• Strong communication and planning abilities.
