What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive administration of employee conditions of service and remuneration.
  • Process pensions, housing allowances, and long service benefits for staff.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records of all signed employment contracts.
  • Ensure new employees complete necessary forms and administer their leave.
  • Administer payroll for all employees and address queries related to pension and medical aid.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including advertisement requests, shortlisting, and interviews.
  • Facilitate the verification of qualifications for candidates and compile submission documents for appointments.
  • Manage the filing and archiving system for HR records, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Administer Employee Health and Wellness programmes to support staff well-being.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • A minimum of two to three years’ experience in a human resources environment.
  • Sound knowledge of the PERSAL system and the legislative framework governing public service.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on planning and teamwork.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • An unendorsed valid driver’s license and a recommendation for an Introduction to PERSAL Certificate.
