What You’ll Do

  • Manage infrastructure projects and support services for campus maintenance.
  • Coordinate and monitor daily maintenance programs and associated expenditures.
  • Facilitate needs assessments and compile maintenance schedules for capital works.
  • Develop and implement action plans for routine activities and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with public service policies and financial management regulations.
  • Oversee the provision of essential services, including accommodation, transport, and record management.
  • Manage financial, procurement, and asset management processes.
  • Assist in the auditing of official registers and monitor departmental vehicle usage.
  • Provide human resources administration and support, including training and performance management.
  • Ensure effective information management and customer service at the campus.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Administration (NQF6).
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in infrastructure support.
  • Knowledge of Public Service Regulations and departmental policies.
  • Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and procurement procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning, management, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and report writing.
  • Skills in budgeting and financial management.
