What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and implementation of the WCG Digital Government Strategy and Transformation Plan.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive IT plans that include capability mapping and strategic planning of digital activities.
  • Facilitate engagement and strategic alignment across various government spheres and sectors.
  • Support the implementation of IT planning and IT Value frameworks.
  • Report on progress and ensure alignment with broader governmental objectives.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher) in Information Technology.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of legislation, regulatory frameworks, and policies impacting public service operations.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and operational management practices.
  • Understanding of human resources management, financial management, and supply chain management within the provincial government context.
