What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and support the implementation of curriculum delivery in public TVET colleges.
  • Monitor and verify college systems related to curriculum execution.
  • Coordinate and compile status update reports based on monitoring findings and recommendations.
  • Conduct teaching and learning support aligned with national policy and ensure timely reporting.
  • Develop and implement interventions to address identified gaps in teaching and learning.
  • Plan and conduct monitoring of student support services in accordance with established frameworks.
  • Facilitate lecturer development support, ensuring compliance with new and revised curricula.
  • Manage Site-Based Assessment and examination monitoring for each examination cycle.
  • Generate and approve monitoring reports concerning assessments and compliance issues.
  • Analyze and report on examination results after each cycle.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or National Diploma (NQF 6) in Education or a related field.
  • A certificate in facilitation, assessment, or moderation will be advantageous.
  • A minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience in post-school education or a related area.
  • Knowledge of the Skills Development Act, Public Services Regulations, and Labour Relations Act.
  • Understanding of the public TVET sector and curriculum transformation issues.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and computer literacy.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
