What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the planning calendar, templates, and internal processes for developing and revising the Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan.
  • Consolidate program inputs and ensure quality assurance of draft plans.
  • Support alignment between strategic plans and municipal Integrated Development Plans by providing health-sector inputs.
  • Offer technical guidance to various programs and districts on formulating measurable indicators and targets.
  • Assist in departmental visioning and strategic direction-setting, preparing technical inputs for strategic sessions.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate / Grade 12 plus a Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Public Policy, Public Management, Development Studies, or Public Administration as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory or managerial experience within a Strategic Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Environment.
  • A relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., in Public Health) is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation mechanisms, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent facilitation, coordination, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with a valid driver’s license.
