What You’ll Do

  • Participate in policy development and strategic and operational planning.
  • Develop and coordinate comprehensive skills development plans.
  • Administer bursary programs, internships, and learnerships.
  • Manage resources, including financial, human, and physical, in line with relevant legislation and directives.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance skills within the department.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training and development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to align skills development with community needs.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 and an NQF Level 6 qualification in Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in Human Resources Management, including two years at a supervisory level.
  • Valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of relevant acts, policies, and regulations.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in budget and financial management.
  • Ability to develop policies and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills and strategic thinking ability.
  • Proficient in computer literacy and possess strong numeracy and literacy skills.
