About the Role
The Department of Public Service and Administration is seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Assistant Director: Conditions of Service at their Head Office in Polokwane, Limpopo. What You’ll Do
- Administer leave utilization and manage the termination of services for public servants.
- Oversee the implementation of service benefits and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Manage and utilize financial, human, and physical resources according to relevant directives.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve HR-related issues and improve service delivery.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance team capacity and performance.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 plus an NQF 6 qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Human Resources Management, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
- Proven successful completion of PERSAL Administration.
- A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for individuals with disabilities).
- Strong knowledge of relevant acts, policies, and regulations governing public service.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, along with effective problem-solving and conflict management skills.
- Proficiency in budget and financial management, as well as HR matters and labour relations.
