What You’ll Do

• Coordinate agricultural development support programs to enhance local farming practices
• Facilitate participatory community development services that engage local stakeholders
• Oversee land reform development initiatives to ensure fair access to agricultural resources
• Promote knowledge transfer and skills development among community members

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12 plus an appropriate postgraduate NQF level 7 qualification in Agriculture or equivalent
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Rural Development, including 3 years at a supervisory level
• A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities)
• Extensive knowledge of the legislative framework governing the Public Service and related agricultural policies
• Strong communication skills with a focus on client orientation and customer service
• Competencies in knowledge management, service delivery innovation, and change management
