What You’ll Do
- Conduct integrated rural development initiatives to enhance community engagement and participation.
- Facilitate social development services that promote active community involvement.
- Coordinate land reform projects that support equitable land access and usage.
- Organize and facilitate training programs for state land and land reform beneficiaries to ensure successful implementation of initiatives.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to align development strategies with community needs.
- Assess agricultural land and provide policy analysis to inform decision-making processes.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate and an appropriate postgraduate qualification (NQF level 8) in Agriculture or a related field, recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Agriculture or Rural Development.
- A valid driver’s license, with exceptions made for individuals with disabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of legislative frameworks governing the Public Service, including the Public Service Act and related regulations.
- Proven experience in rural development practices, policy analysis, and people management.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, along with the ability to interpret maps effectively.
