The Department of the Premier is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Director: Risk Advisor to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. What You’ll Do
- Supervise and implement the risk management framework across the organization
- Develop and maintain enterprise risk management policies and operational plans
- Ensure effective risk mitigation and control support for various projects
- Prepare and submit high-quality, professional reports on risk assessments
- Facilitate the identification, analysis, and assessment of potential risks
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree)
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in risk management
- A valid Code B (or higher) driving license
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks
- Familiarity with public sector legislative and regulatory frameworks, such as PFMA
- Strong computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
