What You’ll Do

  • Monitor the implementation of projects against the established log framework.
  • Facilitate orientation and training sessions for project service providers at learner sites.
  • Implement monitoring and evaluation processes for projects within your portfolio.
  • Verify the accuracy of performance reports and track output statuses from sites.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with training standards and facilitate communication of risks.
  • Manage invoicing and financial reporting in collaboration with project payment officers.
  • Develop and upload monthly and quarterly project progress reports to the knowledge management system.
  • Maintain relationships with service providers and engage actively with project payment officers.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate bachelor’s degree or national diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration, Management, Business Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management, Finance, or Human Resource Development.
  • A minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience in a project management environment.
  • Knowledge of the Public Service and NSF mandates, strategies, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong skills in strategic thinking, budgeting, communication, and project management.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders effectively and demonstrate commitment to service excellence.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours and travel extensively.
  • A valid driver’s license.
