What You’ll Do

  • Manage administrative tasks in the Office of the Judge President, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Arrange and schedule meetings and appointments for the Judge President.
  • Coordinate communications between Judges and senior officials, facilitating important engagements.
  • Draft and compile correspondence, including memos, letters, and reports.
  • Oversee leave management and maintain accurate records within the office.
  • Handle correspondence related to reserved judgments and address complaints as needed.
  • Organize logistics for meetings and engagements, both locally and internationally.
  • Support the Judge President in budget-related processes and verify financial reports.
  • Manage travel arrangements and ensure proper documentation for approvals.
  • Maintain the Judge President’s vehicle and submit claims for travel and communication expenses.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Diploma in Office Management, Business Administration, or a relevant qualification at NQF level 6.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in an administrative office management environment, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
  • A valid driver’s license or an LLB degree will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, office management systems, and supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
  • Skills in report writing, problem-solving, and interpersonal relations.
