What You’ll Do

  • Plan and manage quality inspections to ensure compliance with Employment Law.
  • Monitor reported cases of law contraventions and prepare for adjudication forums as a State Witness.
  • Provide quality assurance to inspectors for enforcement actions and prepare legal reports.
  • Oversee and guide the BLITZ inspections programme to ensure compliance with Employment Law.
  • Manage advocacy campaigns on Employment Laws, analyzing their impact based on work plans.
  • Compile and consolidate statistical reports for the Labour Centre.
  • Manage resources within the Inspection and Enforcement Unit effectively.

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification at NQF Level 6 recognized by SAQA in fields like B-Proc, B-Juris, Labour Relations, or similar.
  • A valid driving license.
  • A minimum of four years of functional experience, including two years in a supervisory role and two years in inspections or enforcement services.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant Labour Laws and Acts.
  • Excellent facilitation, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer literacy and report writing.
  • Solid interpersonal and conflict-handling abilities, with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
