What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the management and administration of human resource services, including leave, housing, medical, and pension matters.
  • Coordinate recruitment and selection processes, ensuring adherence to timelines and departmental protocols.
  • Manage HR personnel records and ensure compliance with public service legislation.
  • Facilitate human resource development initiatives, including administration of bursaries and internships.
  • Develop and implement the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and manage performance management systems.
  • Lead organizational development activities, including job evaluation and change management processes.
  • Coordinate the development and monitoring of employment equity plans and HR plans.
  • Implement employee health and wellness programs, promoting a healthy work environment.
  • Provide advisory services on labor relations and manage employee relations operations.

What You’ll Need

  • Matric/Grade 12 plus a recognized 3-year National Diploma in Human Resources Management or a 4-year Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Human Resource Management environment, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • PERSAL certificates and understanding of public service legislation and policies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver’s license and excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service.
