What You’ll Do
- Manage grievances, disputes, and disciplinary processes effectively.
- Investigate grievances and misconduct cases to ensure fair outcomes.
- Represent the department during hearings and related litigation processes.
- Oversee the Labour Relations Database to maintain accurate records.
- Facilitate training and workshops to educate employees on labour-related matters.
- Implement, interpret, and uphold labour policies and regulations.
- Advise employees and management on labour-related issues and best practices.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Human Resource Management, Labour Relations, or Labour Law.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Extensive experience in a Labour Relations Management environment, including several years at a Junior Management level.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Constitution of the RSA, Public Service Act, and Labour Relations Act.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage conflict effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and report writing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing circumstances.
