What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and monitor the implementation of human resources management policies within the province.
  • Provide advice on the implementation of Employment Relations policies and prescripts to ensure compliance.
  • Manage the implementation of Employment Equity programs to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Oversee the administration of service benefits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage resources including human, financial, and equipment/assets within the sub-directorate.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Management, or Employee Relations at NQF Level 6 recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of four years’ experience in Human Resource Management and Employee Relations, with at least two years at a Senior Practitioner level.
  • Knowledge of public service transformation, management issues, and the ability to convert policies into actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PERSAL.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to analyze policies and solve problems effectively.
