What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive research to identify constraints affecting mineral beneficiation.
  • Propose solutions to enhance local processing of mineral commodities.
  • Support the development of policy and strategy interventions.
  • Organize and provide logistical support for local and international promotional activities.
  • Engage in socio-economic research and environmental scans to inform strategy development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective strategies in the beneficiation sector.

What You’ll Need

  • A B Comm (Econometrics) degree (NQF 7).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in economics, mining, statistics, or strategy development.
  • Strong understanding of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA) and related government policies.
  • Well-developed skills in strategy development, implementation, and socio-economic research.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient communication abilities, including public speaking and report writing.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience in stakeholder management.
  • Ability to independently identify problems and develop innovative solutions.
