What You’ll Do
- Attract and support local and foreign direct investment initiatives.
- Develop and implement investment recruitment strategies and plans.
- Manage inward and outward missions for potential investors.
- Maintain and update the investor projects database.
- Conduct research and analyze investment proposals and business plans.
- Prepare business cases for prospective investments in South Africa.
- Lead efforts in investment marketing and lead generation.
- Facilitate investor visits and transition leads into projects.
- Develop marketing materials such as presentations and briefing documents.
- Engage and maintain stakeholder relationships within public and private sectors.
- Oversee customer relations and ensure quality assurance in CRM systems.
- Provide inputs for the compilation of reports on investment activities.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum qualification at NQF level 7 in Business Management, Investment, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience in industry, marketing, or finance within the public or private sector.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM and investment pipeline systems.
- Strong research and analytical skills for evaluating business plans.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to travel as needed.
- Experience in investment promotion, lead generation, or investment marketing, particularly in advanced manufacturing sectors.
- Project management skills with experience in managing consultant inputs.
