What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Directorate to ensure smooth operations
- Plan, organise, and oversee administrative activities within the Chief Directorate
- Manage the flow of documents and information across the department
- Administer finances related to the Chief Directorate’s operations
- Coordinate procurement activities and assist with MTEF submissions
- Provide secretariat support for meetings, including the National Human Resource Committee
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of meeting minutes and agendas
- Manage human and physical resources effectively, including leave records and asset registers
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 (NQF 4) certificate and an NQF 6 qualification in Management, Office Administration, Public Management, or related fields
- At least three years of experience in office administration and financial management at a supervisory level
- Knowledge of Public Service Regulations and the Public Service Act
- Understanding of financial policies as guided by Treasury Regulations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent planning, organizing, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
- Valid driver’s license
