What You’ll Do

  • Manage the supply chain management services within the management area.
  • Coordinate procurement and demand services effectively.
  • Oversee logistics and disposal management services.
  • Ensure accurate financial and management accounting services are rendered.
  • Monitor and manage the budget utilization within the area.
  • Lead revenue collection efforts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Implement strategies to maintain adherence to internal controls.
  • Manage performance information and oversee human resources, finances, and assets.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in Financial and Management Accounting or equivalent, as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a middle/senior managerial role within a similar environment.
  • A certificate for entry into the Senior Management Services (SMS) from the National School of Government is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software relevant to the role.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Understanding of public service policies, Treasury Regulations, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong managerial, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client orientation.
