What You’ll Do

  • Render financial accounting transactions and ensure accuracy in processing invoices
  • Verify and check invoices for correctness and approval in compliance with internal controls
  • Process payments and maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions
  • Support salary administration by checking and capturing salary advices, bonuses, and deductions
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including clearing suspense accounts and processing electronic banking transactions
  • Compile financial journals and monitor debtor accounts for timely follow-ups
  • Provide budget support services by collecting expenditure information and identifying variances

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate as a minimum requirement
  • Basic knowledge of financial functions and practices
  • Proficiency in data capturing and operating computer systems
  • Understanding of public service financial legislation and Treasury Regulations
  • Familiarity with financial operating systems such as PERSAL, BAS, and LOGIS
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills
  • Basic numeracy and financial analysis capabilities
