What You’ll Do
- Perform architectural activities on state-owned or leased buildings and structures.
- Coordinate with professional teams and ensure compliance with legal, safety, and health requirements.
- Provide architectural advice and technical support in evaluating design solutions.
- Develop and implement architectural policies, methods, and practices.
- Mentor and train candidate architects and related personnel to promote knowledge transfer.
- Oversee architectural work processes and manage performance development.
- Prepare and consolidate resource utilisation inputs and manage budget planning.
- Conduct research and continuous professional development to stay updated with industry trends.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate B degree in Architecture or a relevant qualification.
- A minimum of three years of post-qualification relevant architectural experience.
- Compulsory registration with SACAP (South African Council for the Architectural Profession) as a Professional Architect.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Proficiency in architectural planning, design, and contract administration.
- Working knowledge of software such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong decision-making, team leadership, and analytical skills.
